Heyward House - Old Town Bluffton
The original structure of this Antebellum era home dates back to the 1840s and is one of only 10 buildings in the area that survived the burning of Bluffton during the Civil War. The building was starting to show its age, so a complete refurbishing was completed from the structure upward to stabilize and enhance this unique historic home. The Heyward House serves as the home base for the Historic Bluffton Foundation and the Welcome Center for the Town of Bluffton.
